Mario Palmerini

Mario "Pepa" Palmerini, 67, of Fleischmanns, New York, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026.

 Born on April 3, 1959, in White Plains, New York, Mario lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to his family and faith.

Mario was the beloved son of Louis A. Palmerini and the late Alice Held. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Theresa Palmerini, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Together they built a loving family that brought him immense joy and pride. He is survived by his devoted children: his daughter RoseMarie Palmerini and her son Nugget, who is the light of Mario’s life; and his son Louis A. Palmerini. Mario also leaves behind his brothers: Gregg Palmerini, Mathew Palmerini, Michael Palmerini, and Stephen Palmerini.

A man of deep faith, Mario found comfort in knowing he was returning home to the Good Lord. His Catholic beliefs were a cornerstone of his life and provided him with strength and guidance throughout his journey.

Mario was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. He cherished spending time outside and relished every moment he could share with loved ones in nature’s embrace. Whether playing with his grandson or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, Mario’s kind heart and sense of humor left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Known as an amazing husband, father, and “Pepa,” Mario absolutely adored his children and grandson. His love for them was boundless and unwavering. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will remember him as a kind-hearted soul whose laughter could brighten any room. He will be deeply missed but forever loved and cherished.

May Mario’s memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing and inspire all to live with the same warmth and generosity and Faith that defined his life.
