Tom Hynes purchased the Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury in 1970 and established the Hynes Funeral Home in Margaretville five years later. Before he passed away in 2020, Tom was known as a caring, community-oriented Funeral Director who helped countless Catskill area families hold services for their loved ones.
Today, Mary Hynes, Tom’s wife of over 50 years, continues the family business with help from Elaine Faulkner, who joined in 2010. Together, they maintain Tom’s legacy of serving the Catskills community with kindness and compassion.
