In Loving Memory of Rosemary Schaumloffel:

Rosemary Schaumloffel, 89, of Andes, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Born on January 14, 1936, in the Bronx, NY, to Albert and Mary Walker, Rosemary married William Schaumloffel on October 21, 1961. Together, they raised two sons, William and Christopher.

A dedicated member of the Andes community, Rosemary served on the Zoning Board of Appeals and worked for many years in the real estate field.

She loved cruising, sightseeing, tending to her flowers, clothes shopping, and spending winters in Florida with her husband. Fondly known as "Nosey Rosy," she had an insatiable curiosity, always asking questions and striking up deep, meaningful conversations with everyone she met.

Rosemary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Rebecca, and granddaughters Mya, and her wife Meghan, and Alyssa. She is also survived by her eldest son, William, and daughter-in-law Denise, along with their four sons: Willie, Brian, Hunter, and Winston.

A memorial service to celebrate Rosemary's life will be held on Sunday, August 10th at 3:00 p.m. at her home, 490 Upper Dingle Hill Road, Andes, NY.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
